I am incredibly excited to share with you my performance of my new original work, "The Edge of the Hill,"a piece that was endorsed by Arts Mid Hudson's Decentralization Grant Program.

It was performed at The O+ Festival at The Old Dutch Church on Friday, October 5th at 10pm and Saturday, October 6th at 1pm.
Performing with Liana Gabel Band at Unison Art Center
The Liana Gabel Band will be performing at the Unison Art Center in New Paltz on February 8th at 8:00pm. Unison Art Center is a great place to hear music and this is a show not to miss. We'll be celebrating something special soon to be announced!

The Edge of the Hill Performance THIS WEEKEND
I am incredibly excited to perform my new original work, "The Edge of the Hill,"a piece that was endorsed by Arts Mid Hudson's Decentralization Grant Program. It is being performed at The O+ Festival at The Old Dutch Church on Friday, October 5th at 10pm and Saturday, October 6th at 1pm. The piece will be performed by a 10 piece ensemble conducted by Neil Alexander to be accompanied by electronic samples and soundscapes played by yourstruly. The Edge of the Hill
I am excited to announce that I am the proud recipient of the Individual Arts Commission from Arts Mid Hudson for the commission of my new orchestral work entitled: The Edge of the Hill. It will be an instrumental piece that features interviews from residents of Ulster County concerning their thoughts and feelings on the beautiful environment here in the Hudson Valley. The piece will be performed at the O+ Music Festival on October 5th and 6th at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston, NY. The interviews will be used in both a concrete and abstract manner. For instance, someone's response might become the sound of running water, or it might be kept fairly normal. These electronic elements will be their own voice in the composition amidst the rest of the orchestral instruments. . I'm currently looking for interviewees, specifically for Farmers, Politicians, Activists, Teachers, and Students! Email Hollisthefirst@gmail.com if you are interested!
